The dual channel function/waveform/signal generator is designed to produce audio output for speakers and headphones. The output is 16-bit for both the left and right channels, with a frequency of 44.1kHz. It's important to note that the actual output quality may vary depending on your device hardware. Some devices may filter out DC bias and low-frequency signals, and the waveforms may become distorted at high frequencies due to a limited number of samples per waveform.

Given these limitations, this generator is primarily intended for fun or educational use. For critical applications, it's recommended to use a real calibrated function generator.

The device allows you to assign the left and right audio channels to either channel 1 or channel 2. It supports sine, square, and triangular waveforms, with a frequency range of 1mHz to 22kHz. The amplitude can be adjusted from 0% to 100%, and you have the option to set the duty cycle for square waveforms or skew triangular waveforms to create saw waveforms.

In addition, you can also offset the phase of the waveforms and sweep the frequency or amplitude using single, repeat, or bounce modes. The generator offers amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation (FM) as well.

For more specific needs, there is a burst mode that allows you to generate a specific number of waveforms ranging from 1 to 10,000. The device also includes a white noise and pink noise generator. Pink noise follows a 1/f pattern and decreases by approximately 3dB per octave within the range of 43 Hz to 44 kHz.
